"Celebrating Barefoot Press"
After 3 memorable years on Bloodworth Street, Designbox has moved to a more spacious building on Martin Street. The old warehouse was previously occupied by one of Raleigh's Gems: Barefoot Press. Barefoot has recently moved into their own building on Pershing St (Five Points area), and we thought it a perfect opportunity to celebrate their exceptional work over the years which combines a fascinating client base (like the Raleigh rock scene) with quality and creative printing, a pioneering use of recycled papers and a dedication to soy inks. Designbox will also be celebrating our move, with double the space of our old location, an upgraded gallery and some "green" methods of upfit. Curated by Beth Khalifa [db]

The Designbox Gallery is dedicated to promoting the expression of creative and collaborative work. It is home to a number of creative professionals and is located at 323 W. Martin Street (between Harrington and Dawson streets), near Glance Gallery, White Rabbit, Stuff Consignment, Humble Pie and Mosquito. We're open weekdays from 10am to 6pm, and on most First Fridays.
