"Designbox Influences: Bob Rankin "

This November, the first of the Designbox Influences series presents an exhibit saluting the influence of Bob Rankin featuring the work of many of his former students who have followed a career in the professional arts.

Rankin’s former students Thomas DeVries, Rob Allen, Paul Friedrich, Lee A. Williamson, John O’Connor, Tim Kiernan, Jeff McFadyen, Huong Ngo and Casey Porn will be exhibiting work from their collections showcasing the influences of color, humor, imagination and style variations that are derived from Rankin’s teachings. The former student’s works vary from illustration, video, sculpture to merchandise.

At this time Bob Rankin is unaware of this surprise exhibition in his honor.

The Designbox Gallery is dedicated to promoting the expression of creative and collaborative work. It is home to a number of creative professionals and is located at 323 W. Martin Street (between Harrington and Dawson streets), near White Rabbit, Stuff Consignment, Humble Pie and Mosquito. We're open weekdays from 10am to 6pm, and on most First Fridays.
