What happens when you put a filmmaker, a cartoonist, a children's book producer, a copywriter, a brand designer, a book designer, a graphic artist for stone etching, a green engineer, an interior designer, a marketing strategist, a patent attorney, a photographer, a product designer, and a flash programmer, a computer applications designer and a web systems engineer together in a box? Come find out at the Designbox First Friday opening and official kickoff to our new space on West Martin Street. The show will explore both work done by individual members, their influences, as well as exhibition of some of their collaborative work with the local community. The Designbox Gallery is dedicated to promoting the expression of creative and collaborative work. It is home to a number of creative professionals and is located at 323 W. Martin Street (between Harrington and Dawson streets), near Glance Gallery, White Rabbit, Stuff Consignment, Humble Pie and Mosquito. We're open weekdays from 10am to 6pm, and on most First Fridays.
