"downtown neighborhoods: what is and what will be"

weekdays at Designbox
from April 2 through April 30
Opening reception Friday April 2, 7-10 pm.
Denis Wood, author and former Professor of Landscape Architecture at NCSU
will give a talk on Raleigh development.
7:00 to 7:30 pm on April 2.
Detailed analysis of existing urban Raleigh neighborhoods through
maps, photographs and drawings, combined with current proposals for development
in neighborhoods surrounding the urban core. Features work by former NCSU
Landscape Architecture Prof. Denis Wood, NSCU Landscape Architecture students,
local architects and artists. Mr. Wood will give a talk from 7 - 7:30,
followed by informal discussion.
The Designbox Gallery is dedicated to promoting the expression of creative
and collaborative work. It is home to a number of creative professionals
and is located at 315 S. Bloodworth Street (between Martin and Davie streets),
just a block from City Market in downtown Raleigh. We're open weekdays
from 10am to 5pm, and on most First Fridays.
